  • 10:30 – Noon Dr. Douglas Weeks “Problem Solving in the Beethoven 32” . Dr. Weeks of Converse College and the Brevard Music Center fields questions from members on technical and interpretative issues in Beethoven’s Sonatas. Bring your music scores!

Oct. 12: General Meeting and Masterclass at Piano Emporium.

Pedagogy specialist and sought-after adjudicator Dr. Anna Hayward will give coachings to students at the Intermediate through Advanced Levels. (Application posted on AAPF website; see Student Activities.)


Nov. 10: Fall Student Recital at the Broyhill Chapel of Mars Hill University.

Nov. 17: 19th Annual Fall Benefit Concert of AAPF at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Asheville at 3:00 P.M.

Adult admission $25.00, $5.00 for Students ages 5 – 25. Tickets available for $20.00 in advance of concert day for adults. Patron Tickets $50.00. AAPF Professional pianists in solo, instrumental and two piano ensembles. Classical, Jazz, Popular, and Original musical styles.
