performance groups

AAPF hosts monthly Performance Groups open to members at various homes in the area. There are two separate performance groups: The regular Performance Group, open to all members, and the Adult Amateur Performance Group, intended for non-professional adult members. These Groups allow members to test out pieces in front of a warm and friendly audience in a very informal and relaxed atmosphere with light food and drinks provided by the hosts. Members are encouraged to play or just come to listen to their colleagues perform. Any style of piece can be played as long as it is close to a performance-ready state. If you would like to host one of these Performance Groups, we are always looking for new homes that have a well-functioning grand piano and room for about 20 people to sit comfortably.
