The AAPF offers many activities providing educational and charitable opportunities for Western North Carolina piano teachers, their students and our entire community.

This list of events is soon to be updated for the 2018-19 Season, so check back soon, and with any questions!

AAPF's Asheville Piano Competition  (Chairs: 

  • Saturday, May 4, 2019: Competition at Mars Hill University

General Meeting - Saturday, May 18 - Presentation by Dr. Beth Child - "Solutions for Teaching Bach's Keyboard Music:  A Group Discussion"

Performance Groups
Held throughout the year. Typically held monthly in member homes as informal gatherings for performance practice, listening and discussion. All members are welcome to participate. For questions or to volunteer to host a performance group, contact .

9:30-10:30 refreshments and business; 10:30-noon special program.
AAPF Meetings of the Board of Directors
Board meetings begin at 11:00 am on even-numbered months, starting in August. These meetings are open to all AAPF members.  for more info.  Dates for the 2017-18 season are as follows:  August 25th, 2017, October 20th, December 15th, February 16th, 2018, April 20th, & June 15th.
