Jazz Master Class with Jason DeCristofaro on 11/7/20 We are very excited to have Jason DeCristofaro as our teacher for a Jazz Master Class to be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020 starting at 10:30 AM. Jason teaches music at Warren Wilson College and is a very active performer in the Asheville/Hendersonville area on piano, vibes and drums. His bio is listed on his website at Please let me know if you have any students interested in learning how to play jazz and how to improvise, and because it will be a Zoom class, the students can be in any location. We ask that the students be at a reasonably good piano, have an external microphone such as the Blue Yeti or Blue Snowball and also have a good WiFI connection. We are looking to have a beginner, an intermediate and an advanced jazz piano student or a classical student who wants to learn more about playing jazz. Jason DeCristofaro is an active educator, performer, and composer based in Asheville, NC. He holds a Master of Music in Performance (UNCSchool of the Arts), Master of Liberal Arts and Sciences (UNC-Asheville), and is currently working towards his Doctorate in Music Education (Boston University, ABD).
