"The Mental Health of the Classical Artist: Historical & Modern Perspectives" In this presentation, we will explore the romanticization of the "tortured soul" of the artist juxtaposed against the importance of mental health and balance. How has society viewed the topic of mental health through the centuries (e.g., for prominent composers, performers, etc.), and how do we view it today?
